This workshop was held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong on 8 December 2001.
As this is the debut of the project, all secondary school Economics teachers were invited. Approximately 130 teachers & 2 reporters from the Hong Kong Economic Times attended.

The project leader, Professor Ka-fu WONG introduced "EconExperiments" & its costs and benefits to the teachers and press attended.
There were approximately 130 teachers and 2 press from the HK Economic Times attended. They were listening attentively to Professor's speech.  
After the speech, teachers proceeded to the game session. These teachers participated in the game "Production of Moebius Strips" which demonstrates the Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns.

Teachers experienced how the game "Seats Auction" could illustrate the concept of scarcity.
In the game "Tragedy of Commons", teachers can show students how resources will be exploited without the presence of property rights.  
Teachers had the opportunity to experience the games themselve, as well as the chance to discuss and evaluate afterwards.

Teachers rejoined together for experience sharing, Q&A and evaluation. The project team members welcomed all the comments from teachers.
